This notice explains what information the Montielle website uses, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

01
Information used for orders
When you place an order, Montielle may receive your name, email, phone number, order items, fulfillment choice, delivery address, instructions, payment status, order total, and any private post-order feedback you choose to send. We use this information only to prepare, fulfill, support, improve, and document your order.
02
Payments
Card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout. Montielle does not receive or store your complete card number or security code. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and security terms.
03
Customer accounts and rewards
If you create an optional Montielle account, we store your name, verified email, salted password hash, active sessions, reward ledger, eligible order links, and membership-launch preference in the website's protected database. We never store your readable password. Reward points are written from verified order and refund events, not from browser input.
04
Cart, favorites, and order again
Your cart, favorite dishes, and most recent order can be saved in your browser so they are available on the same device. This information stays on your device and can be removed by clearing browser site data.
05
Privacy-conscious website insights
Montielle counts broad actions such as page views, menu searches, items added, favorites, and checkout starts. These are stored only as daily totals. We do not use advertising cookies or store IP addresses, device IDs, customer identities, precise locations, or raw search phrases in the insights dashboard.
06
Email, text, and service providers
Order, verification, and password-reset emails may be delivered through Resend. If text updates are offered and you choose them, they may be delivered through a messaging provider. Embedded Google, Instagram, or TikTok content can connect to those services when viewed. Each provider handles information under its own policies.
07
Security and retention
Owner tools require approved sign-in, customer sessions expire, sensitive settings remain server-side, and payment requests are verified before orders are recorded. Account and order records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service, customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations.
08
Ideas and customer notes
If you share an idea, compliment, or concern, the note is stored privately for the owner team. An automatic word-based organizer places it into a compliment, idea, needs-attention, or private-review queue. It does not make a final decision about your message. Optional name and email details are used only to understand the note or reply.
09
Your questions and choices
You may ask a question, request a correction, leave the membership launch list, or ask about deletion of eligible customer information by contacting Montielle. Some records may need to be retained for payment, accounting, dispute, safety, or legal reasons.
